Here's what people are saying:

"The Learn More, Earn More brochure was an eye-opening resource for our Americorps members. It made them reflect on the importance of education and the effect it has on their future in terms of career opportunities and financial stability. It is great to have resources such as this brochure which can impact someone’s future choices.”

- Ruby Camacho – UIC Americorps Project MORE Coordinator

"In partnership with the Chicago Public Schools Department of Education To Careers, we have worked to generate job opportunities and paid internships for graduates of their Information Technology, Business & Finance and Pre-Engineering programs. The ICRN system allows us to manage 100s of portfolios of students’ resumes, interest inventories, letters of reference and schedules of availability. The technology, data and technical support the ICRN offers would cost tens of thousands of dollars to approximate with private sector resources – and it’s free! Learn it! Use it!"

- Melissa Gordon - Executive Director, Chicago Staffing Alliance

“….introduction to the IDES career and professional website has opened up many doors for our staff and students.”

- Jen Sontag, Director of High School and College Programs - East Village Youth Program

“Your ‘Kids and Careers: How Families Can Help Youth Succeed’ brochure was God sent. At an Illinois Steps AHEAD Gear Up parents gathering the scholars [students] were asked to share why they had chosen the college or university they planned to attend after high school. Imagine my surprise when some of them went into their bookbags and pulled our your brochure, a mad frenzy followed as all of them found theirs to aid in quoting facts and figures to support their selections and/or to explain their change in direction. The parents requested copies to keep for themselves as the scholars seemed unwilling to part with theirs. I love it when a plan comes together!

Again, thank you for allowing our scholars to reap the benefits of your wonderful program.”

Lestine Byars – Executive Director, CIESS – GEAR UP Program
